2022-2023 Dance Classes

While most of our classes perform only in our January showcase and big year-end recital in June, some students wish to have additional performance experience throughout the year, and our performance groups provide those opportunities by presenting local performances through the year at area festivals, community events, shopping malls, retirement communities, and benefit shows. We have a variety of options in our performance groups: The CDMC Performance Team, which consists of four levels in Tap and Jazz (Twinkling Stars, Rising Stars, Shooting Stars, and Blazing Stars), and the CDMC Competitive Team, which is comprised of select students from our Performance Team.

Our 2022-2023 dance year is divided into two sessions: Session 1 runs September 12, 2022 through January 21, 2023, and Session 2 runs February 6, 2023 through June 10, 2023. There are performances during both sessions, usually in October, December, January, and April/May, followed by our year-end recital in June. Students in our performance groups are encouraged to take ballet in addition to jazz and tap, and are eligible for our multiple class discounts. (See tuition information for discount details.)
